So with my foot feeling a little better each time out, I feel confident enough to start planning my schedule for the first half of the year of 2010.
As of now, it's going to be a hybrid of road and trail races, but in the back half of the year I'd like to focus more on trails and ultras. It of course depends all on how the first 6 months go. Crossing my fingers for a healthy, injury-free year!
2/7 - Surf City Half-Marathon
2/13 - Twin Peaks 50/50 (might volunteer, schedule permitting)
3/7 - PCTR Malibu Creek 25K
3/22 - LA Marathon
3/29 - PCTR Sycamore Canyon 18 or 30K
4/10 - Renegade Off-Road Triathlon (yeah, we'll see)
4/24-25 - birthday run(s) (TBD)
6/6 - San Diego RnR Marathon (carried over from last year)
Alright gang, if I don't talk to ya by then, have a great, happy and safe New Year!

looks like a good plan! I am opted out of the LA Marathon due to the $125 entry fee and $300 airline ticket. I'm going to run the Ave of Giants Marathon instead and LA in 2011 when I'm living back in SoCal!
LA Marathon. I don't think I knew or remembered that.
Good plan, Billy.
Sweet. I will be seeing you at a few of those for sure. I still think you need to get a 50 miler in sometime next year though. They are really not that bad of a distance to run. Leona Divide is a good one and the RD is super cool. That is in April so Sycamore would be a good trainer for it............just saying.
sweet! I will hopefully see you at Surf City and if I don't procrastinate the two PCTR races!
So glad you are back running and planning your race calendar! feels good doesn't it??
Looks like our paths will be crossing a couple of times this spring.
Looks like a solid plan, Billy! I'll be sending injury-free vibes your way, too.
Oh, and hopefully you won't have runs on your birthday. That would be quite unfortunate...and perhaps smelly. ;) Hee hee. Yeah, I had to go there.
nice billy! i will see you at some of those races. Here's to a great 2010 and birthday runs. HAHAHAHA
Happy New Year. Hope to meet you at Sycamore Cyn.
Happy New Year Billy and 2010 is your year!
Nice post & nice blog. I love both.
Looks like a solid plan and our paths should cross once or twice, you should so volunteer at TP to see the lie of the land for 2011!
Good schedule Billy! Happy New Year and best of luck with the running!
I'll see you in Huntington Beach! At least at the beginning of the race. Wait for me in the Michelob tent afterwards!
I like it!! I will most likely schedule in a couple of those PCTR runs too - they look like fun :-)
