Funny thing is, I probably will know more people volunteering at this race than actually running it. Along with yours truly, I will be joined by my gal Sara, Stuart, Evan, and Josh among others.
While I'd much rather be cursing up a steep dirt road donning a race bib, this is the next best thing I suppose. It's always good to give back to this sport we all love so much.
It should make for a fun weekend. Good luck racers - be sure to say 'hi' if you've signed up!

are you going to be doing any of the PCTR races in the bay area this next year? i *might* be doing my very first one at the end of december :)
Yes, several look appealing including the SF one day race!
Be sure to say hey to my coach, Rom who's doing the 50k!
It should be a fun one. I am volunteering but secretly wishing I were running it. There are a lot of good guys signed up for it and it gets me wanting to race.
Oh well. Watching other people suffer towards progression is also an awesome way to spend the day.
PCTR Rocks! Running or volunteering they have great events. Thanks for stopping by.
have fun! at least you will be able to get out and watch the action instead of being cooped up at home. next time, next time!
I signed up to volunteer, but I did it late and they're not sure they need me. I'm supposed to find out today... Hopefully I'll see you guys out there on Sunday!
Way to go signing up to volunteer! You'll be pinning that bib on soon enough. Maybe sooner if you go to a Red Lobster and have the shellfish. ;)
Good on ya for volunteering, another fun side of running to blog about
Volunteers can make or break a race. Good for you!
Is this the place where you got lost and made that crazy video? LOL
