Back from Yosemite

The Good: great company, finally caught up on some sleep, fantastic food, was either barefoot or in my Vibram Five Fingers the entire time, road trippin with my girl, the beach, bike paths everywhere, literally in the middle of heaven

The Bad: screaming kids, threat of bears every night, pesky squirrels, scattered thunderstorms, didn't run as much as I'd hoped, didn't read as much as I'd hoped, no rafting, no showering, no epic hikes/runs (Half Dome, El Capitan, etc)

Sara atop Taft Point (elev ~7,800 ft)

Seeing Yosemite Valley on foot

Me and the fellas in front of Mirror Lake

A view of Half Dome from bike paths

My only trail run en route to Taft

One of the many diverse bike paths Yosemite has to offer

Very high

I love this place

Good news is, I'll be back there in a couple of weeks with the fam. That's right - twice in one month. Maybe I'll finally climb Half Dome this time.

Back to our regularly scheduled program for now. More running to look forward to. Yay.

Awesome pictures! We may try to make a trip to Yosemite with the family this summer after school is out. If so, I'll make sure that my kids don't yell too much =)

twice in a month! i'm jealous! love that you ran shirtless but in arm warmers - that's got to be a hot tan line... :)

Dude it looks AWESOME!!

Yeah bummer on the screaming kids. Even I would not put up with that sheet and I have a high tolerance for it HAHA. Hey, when you're on vaca who wants to listen to that?

Bet you have the reverse trucker's tan with those arm warmers. Looked fun! Bears and screaming kids. What, were you at Knott's Berry Farm?

One of my favorite places. The views when you come out of the tunnel driving up from Fresno is still breath taking, and I've been up there at least a dozen times.

Have you climbed Half Dome before? The last couple hundred yards are *interesting*. Don't get caught up there in a thunderstorm!

That is some scenic beauty - and the pics do it justice! Excellent. BTW thanks again for the tip on the Vibram 5-finger KSO's, I am wearing mine all the time now for working out & short runs. They are great!
