Another 4:45am wakeup call to get in my 10-11 mile run before 8am.
Coffee, bathroom, computer...out the door by 5:30am.
46 degrees at start. Ear warmers, gloves, sleeves...the works.
iPod Shuffle loaded with new U2 album among others (not their greatest).
First 2 miles: 8:58, 8:49 (still trying to warm-up)
Hit Clover Park by 2.85 mile mark.
The park is an approximately .75 mile rolling, windy path.
Picked up pace a bit, did several loops.
Started to head back a little after the 7 mile mark.
Last 2 miles: 7:54, 7:53.
Total for the day = 10.80 miles @ 8:18 pace.
That was fun.

I love love love that you're an early morning convert! There's nothing that quite compares to dawn, is there?
Great job!
P.S. In LA the weekend of March 20th/21st!
I almost bought that album, but hesitated after hearing one of the albums.
I do love some Bono.
Sweet!
Wow, look at you go billy. See you Saturday night for some carbo load. :)
Nice! That's damn early. Well done. :)
NICE job!! :) way to get up EARLY and nail your run.
Being a morning person really is the only way to fly. BTW, you ran through Clover Park. Did you know the movie Cloverfield was named after the street in Santa Monica for no other reason than to keep the details of the movie a secret. Seriously. Now is that clever or just creatively bankrupt?
Another great run Billy! Keep cranking them out!
That sounds like a great training run, especially at that pace! Hopefully the diet modifications will start kicking in & you will drop some el bees.
Great job! 4:45 is hardcore!
nice last couple of miles...speedy, speedy.
Nice run!!!
Maybe I'll see you tomorrow at malibu creek. I'm only doing the 9K-too tired to do anything else!!!
But good luck!!
dude. ear warmers and gloves at 46? come on now. you're gonna have to lose some hard-core points, but the 4:45 part, the 10+ miles part, and the 8:18 part are still pretty admirable. i guess you can still be cool.
I run at Clover Park, too.
Much later, though!
