Now I have been fortunate enough to avoid getting a traffic ticket since high school. But wouldn't you know it - it was only last night that I was chastising my cousin during dinner for receiving his 2nd speeding ticket in as many months. I of course, mentioned my impeccable driving record to reinforce my point. So I guess it's only fitting that karma instantly worked her magic. Except I was able to talk may way out of it.
Ordinarily, I would be doing backflips but I'm not exactly proud of how I did it. I won't get into the specifics but let's just say that I compromised some principles I hold near and dear.
No - not that...get your head outta the gutter.
